Abstract: Objective: To investigate the clinical effects for treating mixed hemorrhoids with minimally invasive hemorrhoid ligation combined external hemorrhoidectomy. Methods: 70 patients with mixed hemorrhoids were divided into two groups at random: 35 patients in control group were treated with external hemorrhoidectomy, and 35 patients in study group were treated with minimally invasive hemorrhoid ligation combined external hemorrhoidectomy. The therapeutic effects, operation indicators (operation time, intraoperative blood loss, wound healing time, hospital stays) and pain degree of patients in two groups were compared. Result: After treatment, the total effective rate of study group was 97.14%, which was significantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05). The operation time [(18.18±2.76) min], intraoperative blood loss [(15.14±1.57) ml], wound healing time [(10.15±2.65) d] and hospital stays [(5.64±1.05) d] of patients in study were significantly lower than that of control group (P<0.05). The pain score of patients in study group after treatment was (3.94±0.64), which was significantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusions: Treating mixed hemorrhoids with minimally invasive hemorrhoid ligation combined external hemorrhoidectomy can reduce operation time and intraoperative blood loss, alleviate pain degree, improve the therapeutic effect effectively, so it is worthy of popularizing and using in clinic.
