Abstract: Objective To explore the application effect of day surgery for breast benign tumor resection after medical insurance payment in Wuyi, Jiangmen. Methods From January 2019 to December 2019, 160 patients who underwent breast benign tumor resection in Jiangmen Central Hospital were selected as the research objects. Taking June 30, 2019 as the time node, patients were divided into observation group and control group, 80 cases in each group. The control group adopted the routine in-hospital operation process and discharged within 72 hours. The observation group adopted daytime operation process, outpatient preoperative examination, appointment for breast benign tumor resection and observation operation. The patients were discharged within 24 hours. The hospitalization time, hospitalization cost, operation time, number of tumor resection, postoperative complications and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The length of stay in the observation group was significantly shortened, the cost of stay in the observation group was significantly reduced, and patients' satisfaction was higher, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of operation time, number of tumor resection and postoperative complications (P>0.05). Conclusion In Wuyi area of Jiangmen, the application of daytime operation process in breast benign tumor resection can effectively shorten the length of stay, improve the turnover rate of beds in the department, save the cost of medical insurance, and improve the satisfaction of patients, which has a good promotion value in clinical practice.
