Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of different root canal sealants in one-time root canal therapy. Methods From January 2018 to January 2019, 80 patients (100 affected teeth) who received one-time root canal treatment were selected. According to the group of odd-even number, single number was divided into control group and double number into experimental group. AH Plus paste was used in the control group and iRoot SP paste was used in the experimental group. VAS scores changes, root filling quality, acute inflammatory response rate within 1 week after root filling and efficacy after 1 year were compared between the two groups. Results After 3 and 7 days of treatment,VAS score of experimental group was lower than that of control group(P<0.05). After root filling, the experimental group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).The rate of acute inflammatory response in experimental group was lower than that in control group within 1 week after treatment(P<0.05). The comparison of treatment success rated after 1 year showed that the experimental group was higher than the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The application of iRoot SP paste in one-time root canal therapy can not only reduce the acute inflammatory reaction after treatment, reduce pain, but also improve the quality of root filling and the success rate of treatment, which is worth popularizing.
