Objective:To analyze the clinical effects of intravenous drip of ambroxol hydrochloride on obstinate phlegm sound in children with bronchopneumonia. Methods:134 children with bronchopneumonia were randomly divided into study group and control group with 67 children in each group. The children in control group were given conventional therapy; on this basis, the children in study group were also given intravenous drip of ambroxol hydrochloride. The serum interleukin-6 (IL-6) and hypersensitive C reactive protein (hs-CRP) level before and after treatment were respectively detected. And the clinical effects of 2 groups were also observed. Results:After treatment the serum IL-6 and hs-CRP level of children in 2 groups were all obviously decreased (P<0.05); moreover, the serum IL-6 and hs-CRP level of children in study group after treatment were significantly lower than control group after treatment (P<0.05). The total effective rate of study group was 95.52% (64/67), which was obviously higher than control group (P<0.05). Conclusions:Intravenous drip of ambroxol hydrochloride can eliminate the obstinate phlegm sound in lung effectively, and also can improve the clinical effects of children's bronchopneumonia, so it is worthy of application in clinic.
