Analysis of The Expression and Significance of STRA6 in Lung Adenocarcinoma Based on Bioinformatics
ZUO Yu-juan, HAN Shuang-hua, ZHANG Dong
Objective To investigate the expression of stimulated by retinoic acid 6(STRA6) in LUAD and its potential role in the occurrence and development of LUAD using bioinformatics.
Methods Platforms such as TCGA, GEO, LinkedOmicsKB, Kaplan - Meier Plotter, LinkedOmics, String, and TISIDB were utilized to detect and analyze the expression, prognosis, functional enrichment of related genes, immune cell infiltration, and immune checkpoints of STRA6 in LUAD.
Results The expression of STRA6 in LUAD tissues was significantly higher than that in normal tissues. STRA6 may potentially regulate the pathogenesis of LUAD through immune-related pathways, affecting the proliferation and migration of LUAD cells. Moreover, STRA6 might exert its carcinogenic effect via immune infiltration.
Conclusion STRA6 can serve as an immunotherapeutic target for LUAD, potentially driving LUAD carcinogenesis by activating oncogenic pathways and regulating TME.
