Abstract68)      PDF (1551KB)(0)
Objective: To analyze the effects and prognosis of laparoscope in the treatment of gallbladder stone withcholecystitis. Methods: 116 cases of gallbladder stone with cholecystitis patients were divided into observation group and control group with 58 patients in each group according to operation method. The patients in observation group were treated with laparoscopic surgery, while the patients in control group were treated with traditional open surgery. The indexes during and after operation, as well as postoperative quality of life of patients in 2 groups were compared. Results: The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, utilization rate of anodynes, time of leaving bed, bowel sounds recovery time and hospital stays of patients in observation group were obviously lower than control group (P<0.05). The field of social relation, psychology, physiology, environment, the gemeingefuhl and total score of patients in observation group were obviously higher than control group (P<0.05). Conclusions: Treating gallbladder stone with cholecystitis with laparoscope has significant effects, it can effectively improve the quality of life and prognosis of patients.

Abstract18)      PDF (1622KB)(0)
Objective: To investigate the correlations and clinical significance of serum galectin-3 (Gal-3) level in patients with chronic heart failure. Methods: 45 chronic heart failure patients in the Affiliated Hospital of Chengde Medical College were taken as heart failure group, and 45 health check people as control group at the same term. The serum Gal-3 and brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) level, as well as left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDD) of subjects in 2 groups were compared. Results: The serum Gal-3 and BNP level of patients in heart failure group were obviously higher than control group (P<0.01). The serum Gal-3 level was positively correlated with BNP level, NYHA classification and LVEDD (P<0.01); but negatively correlated with LVEF (P<0.01). The area under the ROC curve (AUC) of Gal-3 in the diagnosis of chronic heart failure was 0.852 (P<0.01). Conclusions: Serum Gal-3 is involved in the development of chronic heart failure, and it has important guiding significance in clinical diagnosis and risk stratification of chronic heart failure.
