ANALYSIS OF ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION OF HOSPITALIZED ELDERLY HYPERTENSION PATIENTS IN A TERTIARY HOSPITAL

Objective: To investigate the current situation and influencing factors of anxiety and depression of hospitalized elderly hypertension patients. Methods: HAMA scale and HAMD scale were used to evaluate the anxiety and depression of 324 cases of hospitalized elderly hypertension patients in Chengde Central Hospital; And the influencing factors of anxiety and depression were also analyzed. Results: The ratio of anxiety and depression in 324 cases of hospitalized elderly hypertension patients were respectively 48.77% (158/324) and 45.06% (146/324).Anxiety was related to cultural level, frailty, marriage and living conditions (P<0.05); Depression was related to frailty, marriage and living conditions (P<0.05). Conclusions: Widowed, living alone,frailty in elderly hypertension patients are more likely to suffer anxiety and depression.
