LIU Yang, JIN Ying-li, LI Li
Abstract221)      PDF (5675KB)(37)
Objective To study the influence of ginkgo extract on diabetic nephropathy. Methods A total of 80 patients with diabetic nephropathy were randomly divided into two groups. Based on the routine treatment of diabetes, ginkgo extract was added to experimental group. After 12 weeks of treatment, creatinine (CRE), uric acid (UA), urea nitrogen (BUN) and 24h urinary protein (24h Pro) were measured. At the same time, C-reactive protein (CRP), D-dimer (DD), plasma fibrinogen (FIB) and serum homocysteine (HCY) were determined as the basis of efficacy evaluation. Results The values of CRE, 24h proteinuria, DD and CRP in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Ginkgo biloba leaf extract can protect kidney function and improve blood hypercoagulability, which is effective in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy and can be popularized.

Abstract79)      PDF (6522KB)(21)
Objective To explore the effect of miR-708 on the cure rate and survival rate of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and the prognostic markers. Methods Blood samples of 90 children who had been diagnosed with ALL and of 20 healthy children were collected; qRT-PCR detection technology was used to detect the expression level of miR-708 in all blood samples; the unpaired t-test was used to analyze the relationship between the two groups correlation; the receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve was used to analyze the diagnostic value of miR-708 in children with ALL; the Kaplan-Meier survival curve method was used to evaluate the prognostic survival of miR-708 expression level in children with ALL. Results Compared with blood samples from healthy children, the expression of miR-708 in children ALL blood samples was significantly up-regulated(P<0.001); the ROC curve showed that the area under the curve, that is, the AUC value was 0.882, indicating that miR-708 had a good diagnostic potential in children's ALL; Kaplan-Meier survival curve suggested that overexpression of miR-708 was associated with poor prognosis. Conclusion miR-708 is significantly up-regulated in the blood of childhood ALL patients, and can be used as an effective marker for the diagnosis and prognosis of childhood ALL.

Abstract92)      PDF (6454KB)(33)
Objective: To observe the effects of radiographic exposure on marginal microleakage for treating dental caries with Filtek Z350 nano resin and FX-Ⅱ reinforced glass ionomer cement. Methods: 40 premolars were randomly divided into four groups with 10 teeth in each group: radiographic exposure group A1 and A2,control group B1 and B2. Cavities were prepared on the buccal side of all the teeth, then the teeth in group A1 and B1 were filled with Filtek Z350 nano resin, and the teeth in group A2 and B2 were filled with FX-II reinforced glass ionomer cement. The teeth in group A1 and A2 were irradiated once a day and 2.0Gy a time, and the total exposure was 70Gy; While the teeth in group B1 and B2 were not irradiated. All the teeth were dyed with 2.0% methylene blue solution after 500 times thermocycling, and the microleakage depth were measured under somatic microscope. Results: Filled with same filling materials, there was no significant difference in microleakage depth between radiographic exposure group and control group (P>0.05). Radiation or not, there was no significant difference in microleakage depth between different filling materials (P>0.05). Conclusions: For patients with head and neck tumor who are prepared for radiotherapy in clinic, Filtek Z350 nano resin and FX-Ⅱ reinforced glass ionomer cement can be used to treat dental caries, they all can obtain fairly stable edge sealing effects.

EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT SURFACE TREATMENT METHODS ON ULTRASTRUCTURE OF NON-CARIOUS SCLEROTIC DENTINE
LIU Yan, FU Qiang
Abstract46)      PDF (1950KB)(0)
Objective: To investigate the effects of different tooth preparation methods on ultrastructure of non-carious sclerotic dentine. Methods: 20 molar teeth with typical sclerotic dentin on the occlusal surface were randomly divided into 4 groups: Teeth in group A were prepared with high-speed turbine dental drill; Teeth in group B were prepared by dental drill and 35% phosphoric acid for 15s; Teeth in group C were prepared by Er,Cr:YSGG laser; Teeth in group D were prepared by laser and 35% phosphoric acid for 15s. Scanning electron microscope was used to observe the ultrastructure of the sclerotic dentin surface. Results: Group A: the sclerotic dentin surface was relatively flat, and covered by smear layer. Group B: the sclerotic dentin surface became rough, the smear layer had been removed and sclerotic column protruded from dentinal tubules. Group C: the sclerotic dentin surface was rough, the intertubular dentin were honeycombing changed, and the dentinal tubules protruded. Group D: the opening of dentinal tubules increased and sclerotic column protruded. Conclusions: Prepare the dentin surface by Er,Cr:YSGG laser can obviously improve the non-carious sclerotic dentine surface, combined 35% phosphoric acid etching at the same time can obtain a better bonding surface.

Abstract62)      PDF (5070KB)(0)
Objective: To investigate the current situation and influencing factors of anxiety and depression of hospitalized elderly hypertension patients. Methods: HAMA scale and HAMD scale were used to evaluate the anxiety and depression of 324 cases of hospitalized elderly hypertension patients in Chengde Central Hospital; And the influencing factors of anxiety and depression were also analyzed. Results: The ratio of anxiety and depression in 324 cases of hospitalized elderly hypertension patients were respectively 48.77% (158/324) and 45.06% (146/324).Anxiety was related to cultural level, frailty, marriage and living conditions (P<0.05); Depression was related to frailty, marriage and living conditions (P<0.05). Conclusions: Widowed, living alone, frailty in elderly hypertension patients are more likely to suffer anxiety and depression.
