Abstract148)      PDF (4612KB)(56)
Objective: To observe the effects of benzbromarone combined with allopurinol on blood uric acid level in treatment of patients with stable gout. Methods: 136 patients with stable gout were randomly divided into control group (only treated with allopurinol) and observation group (treated with benzbromarone combined allopurinol) with 68 patients in each group, and all the patients were treated for 8 weeks. The blood uric acid level, blood platelet and white blood cell of patients before and after treatment were respectively detected; as well as the adverse reactions of patients during treatment were recorded. Results: After treatment, the blood uric acid level of patients in observation group were obviously lower than patients in control group, the blood platelet and white blood cell were obviously higher (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between observation group and control group during treatment (P>0.05). Conclusions: Treating stable gout patients with benzbromarone combined allopurinol can obviously decline the blood uric acid level, and without increasing adverse reactions, so it is worthy of clinical spreading.
