Objective: To optimize the extraction process of Salvia miltiorrhiza and Panax notoginseng in Compound Danshen preparation. Methods: Four factors and three levels L9(34) orthogonal test was used to optimize the co-extracting technology of Salvia miltiorrhiza and Panax notoginseng by taking Danshensu, tanshinone A and notoginsenoside R1 as index component. Results: The optimal co-extracting technology of Salvia miltiorrhiza and Panax notoginseng was: 8 times of 70% ethanol ultrasonic extraction of 3 times, each time 60min, merged filtrate and filtering; the residue was ultrasonically extracted 2 times with 10 times of water, each time 30min; merged the water solution, alcohol precipitation to the alcohol content of 50% and filtering; merged the filtrate and alcohol extract, recycled ethanol and froze drying. Conclusions: The co-extracting technology of Salvia miltiorrhiza and Panax notoginseng in Compound Danshen preparation in this study is stable and simple, and the extraction efficiency is fairly high.
