Objective: To systematically evaluate the curative effects for treating endometrial carcinoma in elderly patients with laparoscopic and open surgery in China. Methods: The literatures were collected according to selection standard in WanFang database,CNKI, VIP and CBM; and the clinical trials (CCT) were statistically analyzed by RevMan 5.2. Results: 5 cases of CCT were analyzed in this study. Compared with open surgery, the laparoscopic surgery had shorter operation time, less intraoperative blood loss, early postoperative exhaust time, shorter postoperative indwelling catheter time and shorter hospital stays (P<0.05); But there was no statistical significance in number of lymph nodes clearance and surgical complications (P>0.05). Conclusions: Laparoscopic surgery is an ideal operation in the treatment of endometrial carcinoma in elderly patients in China, because it has the advantages of less-injury, quick recovery and without increasing complications.
