Expression of miR-155-5p and its Relationship with Apoptosis Factors in Glioma

Objective To detect the expression of miR-155-5p in glioma, and analyze its relationship with apoptosis factors. Methods Forty-seven patients who were diagnosed with glioma and underwent surgical treatment in Nanyang Second People's Hospital from January 2016 to January 2017 were selected as the research object. The expression of miR-155-5p was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (qPCR), and the expression of Caspase-3 was detected by Western blot. The expression of Bcl-2 was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results There were significant differences in the expression of miR-155-5p in different tumor diameters and different WHO classification groups (P<0.05). High expression of miR-155-5p had short survival time by survival analysis(P<0.05). Negative correlatin was found between miR-155-5p and Caspase-3 (P<0.05). Positive correlation was found between miR-155-5p and Bcl-2 (P<0.05). Conclusion The expression of miR-155-5p is increased in gliomas, which is involved in the formation and progression of lesions. The expression of miR-155-5p is related to apoptosis. The detection of the expression of miR-155-5p has a certain value in judging the prognosis.
