Objective To explore the curative effect of ultrasound-guided tapping combined with hypertonic glucose injection in the treatment of simple breast cysts. Methods A total of 110 patients with simple breast cysts, who were treatedin the hospital from March 2017 to November 2018, were selected and divided into control group and observation group by random numbering method, 55 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ultrasound-guided puncture, while observation group was injected with hypertonic glucose injection after ultrasound-guided tapping. The curative effect and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, total response rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (95.79% vs 83.33%) (P<0.05). After treatment, the size of breast cysts in observation group was significantly smaller than that in control group (P<0.05). The incidence rates of adverse reactions inobservation group and control group were 7.27% and 10.91% respectively (P<0.05). Patients in the observation group had no recurrence after surgery, while 2 patients in the control group had recurrence 6 months after surgery, and 6 patients had recurrence 1 year after surgery. The recurrence rate in the control group was significantly higher than that in the observation group. Conclusion Ultrasound-guided tapping combined with hypertonic glucose injection is effective in the treatment of simple breast cysts, with high safety and low recurrence rate.
