Objective: To analyze the effects of comprehensive rehabilitation therapy in improving maternal pelvic floor function. Methods: 1500 parturients were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 750 parturients in each group. The parturients in control group were given normal postpartum rehabilitation treatment; on basis of control group, the parturients in observation group were given comprehensive rehabilitation therapy, which included pelvic floor electrical stimulation and pelvic floor muscle training. The pelvic floor muscle strength, as well as the occurrence of waist pain, stress incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse of parturients in 2 groups were compared. Results: The excellent rate of pelvic floor muscle strength of parturients in observation group was 90.4% (678/750), which was obviously higher than control group (P<0.05). The occurrence rate of stress incontinence (3.3%, 25/750), waist pain (16.4%, 123/750) and pelvic organ prolapse (32.1%, 241/750) of parturients in observation group were all obviously lower than control group (P<0.05). Conclusions: Postnatal comprehensive rehabilitation therapy can effectively improve maternal pelvic floor function, so it is worthy of application in clinic.
